About my work:
I currently work as a Senior Research Specialist in the Bridging Divides Initiative at Princeton University. My work overall is defined by a passion for effectively communicating data-driven stories. I am particularly interested in political communication and use computational social science and natural language processing, as well as more traditional methods like surveys and experiments, to measure how interest groups, the news media, and the public influence one another. I work in Python and R, and use both STATA and SPSS.
About my life:
I’m a corn-fed Midwesterner. In my free time, I play the drums in a punk band and binge on comedy podcasts. Outside of work, I enjoy learning about and engaging with issues related to urban planning and public transportation. More often than not, you can find me riding my beloved yellow road bike and drinking scalding hot coffee.
